I’ve had the pleasure of working with Aimee Ruiz at Ektelon Racquetball for the past 8 years. She’s a dedicated person and well respected within Ektelon and the sport of racquetball. Besides being one of the sports all time greats on court, she’s become very knowledgeable about what it takes to run a racquetball company in this difficult category within the racquet sports industry. Aimee is exceptional with people and has done a fantastic job of managing Team Ektelon, which has over 900 members. Aimee’s experience in various industries, especially racquetball, makes her an excellent candidate for any position within the business world.
As former National Director for World Outdoor Racquetball, I worked with Aimee on many projects and events. I can say with great confidence that Aimee was a pleasure to work with, and always had a focus on getting things done properly and quickly. She typically exceeded expectations.
Aimee has a unique ability to manage many tasks at once, and make it look easy.
I would highly recommend Aimee for any position that requires leadership, organizational skills, strong communication skills and an overall get it done attitude.
I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to supervise and work with Aimee for approximately five years. During this time, she handled promotions management and various areas of marketing for the Ektelon brand while continually taking on more responsibility as the company evolved through many changes. She was a very diligent and hard working individual who took great pride in the brand and her position and consistently produced at a very high level. One of Aimee’s key strengths was her attention to detail while tackling projects and managing her department always with a very close eye on the budget. However, her involvement in taking on new roles including; communications, website updating and all social media functions for the brand several years after joining the company is a true testament to her ability to roll up her sleeves and become an even more valued member of the team. Aimee not only assumed these new functions, she excelled at it. I would without hesitation, recommend Aimee for any new position she desires in the future.
